Adams Construction Services, Inc. is committed to offering our clients Green Building options for both remodeling and new construction projects.  We are a member of the The Energy Pros, a group dedicated to providing educational opportunities to both contractors and consumers about energy efficient building practices and products.  Please see below for the services we offer to help with energy savings:

 

 

Up to $1,500.00* Tax Credit Available for Qualifying Energy Efficient Home Improvements:
The Internal Revenue Code section 25C tax credit for existing homes, which had expired at the end of 2007, was reinstated as part of the economic rescue package passed last fall.  The credit rate and the lifetime cap have been tripled to 30% of the cost of each product with a $1,500.00 cap.  Projects such as window/door replacement, enhanced insulation and upgrades to heating/air conditioning equipment may be eligible.  Please contact our office for more information.  *Note:  Not all products and taxpayers may qualify – please contact a tax professional to confirm eligibility. LG&E/KU Offering $25.00 Energy Audits:
Residential energy audits are now available to LG&E/KU customers at the significantly reduced rate of $25.00.  This is a new program and interested consumers should consult with LG&E/KU for specific details.  The energy audit will help consumers identify areas where energy loss is occurring and will recommend actions that can be taken to stop the energy loss.  Actions may be as simple as adding caulk/weather stripping or upgrading insulation, and can be more involved including steps such as replacement of windows/doors or upgrades to the heating/air conditioning system.  Adams Construction Services, Inc. is offering a $25.00 credit to LG&E/KU customers who become clients or Adams Construction and present the audit at the time that the recommended work is completed.
